Win two tickets to Taste of London Winter food festival!
Aaaaanyone else started feeling festive already? It’s really awful. Far too early. But *whisper it* I am.
The festive adverts and catalogues have started appearing, the shops are full of advent calendars and mince pies, and it’s only a matter of time before we hear Mariah Carey belting out her Christmas list over the radio.
*tries to contain excitement*
Must. Resist. Watching. The Grinch.
The truth is, I’m excited about Christmas ALL. YEAR. ROUND. My family think I’m a nutter.
Which I am.
And then when autumn comes, the leaves start to fall, the spiced lattes come out and the air becomes crisper, it becomes extra hard to keep my inner Christmas monster at bay. Seriously, she really wants to rear her head.
Sometimes she’s too strong for me – I wore a Christmas jumper yesterday. I’m sorry. It was just so cosy!
But usually I try not to let my inner Christmas freak out until 25th November.
This year, however, I may have to make a slight exception (poor me), as I’m off to the Taste of London Winter festival, which this year runs from 20th-23rd November!
While not officially called a Christmas food and drink festival, I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what it is (it was even called Taste of Christmas last year!). And HELLO, does that not sound incredibly awesome?
SO GET EXCITED, READERS: Thanks to lead sponsors, Electrolux, I have a pair of tickets to give away!
I can’t wait to go myself, and am already super excited about visiting this foodie winter wonderland.
To quote the website: “Taste incredible signature dishes from London’s hottest restaurants, see top chefs put their individual twists on winter classics in live demonstrations, get hands on with interactive masterclasses, indulge in cheese, wine and chocolate tastings and sample unique ingredients and festive foodie gifts amongst the markets.”
And who wouldn’t want to do that? Perf Christmas shopping opportunity, I reckon.
Electrolux are kindly offering Handbags and Cupcakes readers the chance to win a pair of tickets (worth £19 each!) for the Thursday evening (6-10pm) or Friday lunch (11am-4pm) slots at Taste of London. The winners can choose which one they prefer.
The only conditions are that anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. Children under six go free.
To find out more about the festival, have a scoot around the website.
Entering my giveaway couldn’t be simpler – just use the Rafflecopter below! (If you’re confused or have any problems with it though, just let me know.)
