Innocent's Big Knit with Lily Cole and a GIVEAWAY: Win a month's supply of Innocent smoothies!

Two of my greatest passions are food and fashion (and language, so that unintentional rhyme pleases me greatly), and I'm very excited about today's blog post.

I love Innocent smoothies and I also love bobble hats, so, unsurprisingly, I'm a big fan of Innocent's adorable woolly-hat-wearing smoothies in aid of The Big Knit. This year, however, they've teamed up with the beautiful, talented, smart Lily Cole and The North Circular to mark the ten year anniversary of The Big Knit.

Lily Cole and Katherine Poulton set up The North Circular after being inspired by their own grannies. They sell super stylish woollies that are also ethically produced - each item is 100% British wool, handmade by local 'granny' knitters and credited to the individual knitter. I think that's a really nice touch.

So, in their collaboration with Innocent's Big Knit, The North Circular have designed a range of (life-size) hats with all proceeds going to Age UK to help the elderly stay warm this winter - a really worthwhile cause in my opinion.

Personally, I think the special hats are just charming! Tie-dye blue and grey with a massive bobble, I'm a big fan. They cost £85 each which, admittedly, is more than I'd usually spend on a hat, but it is a very good cause, so if you're looking for a new winter hat and have the cash to spare, I think one of these babies is a good way to go.

Bobble-hat-wearing Innocent smoothies have been around for years, and I absolutely love them. There's just something so adorable about a smoothie randomly wearing a bobble hat. The colourful bottles and bright hats look so fab in my opinion.

The lovely Innocent people so kindly sent me a selection of hat-wearing smoothies to sample, and I think they look so cute I almost don't want to drink them and display them round my bedroom instead. Almost. They're actually too scrummy not to drink.

As I'm here in Deutschland, I've got some German smoothies and some English, and I have to say I think they look extra sweet in German. Innocent sent me this lovely card with my exciting package too:

And then what do you do with the hats once you've finished your smoothies? Well, you obviously can't throw them away, so my toiletries are now going to be kept cosy and warm. And they just look SO CUTE.

Innocent want us to get knitting and make our own little hats for their bottles - if that sounds like something you want to do, head on over to little-hats.com and find out how you can do your bit to help. Seriously, just from browsing the website I've seen so many hilarious, cute and plain awesome mini hats - there are some very talented knitters out there!

In my opinion, Innocent seems like an awesome company - all you have to do is read all the little funny bits on the bottles or follow them on Twitter to see that they're a really fun, happy organisation, and I think it's fantastic that 25p from every bottle goes straight to Age UK.

But charity aside, Innocent smoothies are just damn delicious. They're made of purely healthy ingredients with no hidden nasties, so perfect for keeping yourself healthy as winter descends.

New bedroom decor - well, as long as they last anyway!
And because Innocent are such a generous company, they're offering one Handbags and Cupcakes reader the chance to win a month's supply of smoothies! How awesome is that!? Very, I'd say. I'm pretty jealous I can't enter myself!

So, to enter this fabulous smoothie-giveaway, all you have to do is like Handbags and Cupcakes on Facebook - if you want to increase your chances of winning (and I think you do!), just follow me on twitter or tweet about the giveaway. Make sure you click the options below as you do them though! If you have any questions about the giveaway or how to enter, please do drop me a comment below.

You have a week to enter - the giveaway closes at 12am GMT on 16th November 2013.
